5G Transmission Network Evolution
Acquiring the knowledge of 5G key points and required enablers in order to deploy, manage and develop the next generation transmission networks able to carry 5G services and applications. Starting from E-Band microwave, the new 5G-XHaul are analyzed, explaining the next-gen WDM for 5G with x-less services. Transport SDN and network transport automation are discussed, including the optimized routing for the CPRI bus transport between RRH and vBBUs.
